All the feature stones are fluorite: the larger stones (over 15mm) are rough-cut bi-pyramid shape, and the smaller beads (12x8mm) are a smoothly curved Chinese lantern shape. The focal drops are accented with Bali sterling silver beads. 	Volcano Cherry Quartz Necklace This stunning necklace is made with volcano cherry quartz, sardonyx and freshwater pearls. The vivid flame-like patterning gives it it's name. The focal bead measured 3.5cm, and the faceted beads in the necklace are 14mm in size. Although it is often mistaken for a natural gemstone, volcano cherry quartz is actually a man-made stone. It is difficult to create the really vivid flame effect, and good beads are usually priced as high as gemstone beads.
